SGD adds game-changing technology to line up: LibertyLink GT27 Soybeans

New for 2019 planting, Seed Genetics will offer three LibertyLink GT27 soybean varieties: a 3.1 maturity, SG 8319MGL; a 3.5 maturity, SG 8349MGL; and a 3.9 maturity, SG 8399MGL. These varieties will continue to build upon SGD’s already strong portfolio of LibertyLink, GT, Conventional, and Roundup Ready 2 Xtend genetics.

Per Chris Jeffries, president, the LibertyLink GT27 varieties were developed with proven, high-yielding genetics and the LibertyLink GT27 system offers exceptional performance with outstanding weed control. This will be the first soybean technology to offer both Liberty (glufosinate) and glyphosate tolerance.

“We have waited many years for this technology and we are very excited to be able to offer our growers a game changing technology,” said Jeffries.
